This Incredible Disney Fantasia Cake was made by Cake Central Member Tracy Joy. I like the way this Disney Cake uses film panels to represent all of the songs in Fantasia except the Sorcerer’s Apprentice. It features The Sorcerer’s Apprentice by displaying the 3-D Broom wearing the Sorcerer’s Hat and carrying the water buckets. The Cake is a 4 layer white cake frosted with buttercream icing. Each panel background was painted using edible spray food colors. Black Fondant was used for the film borders. Colorflow icing was used for the images on each panel. The Sorcerer’s Hat that Mickey Mouse wore was made using Rice Krispies Treats and covered in Blue Buttercream icing. The moon, stars, and ears were gumpaste and fondant. The Broom was made from a Wooden Dowel and Rice Krispies Treats covered in fondant. The water was made from piping gel.
