Cool Very Hungry Caterpillar Cake and Cookies

De Koekenbakkers is famous for their cookies.  Because of this, they do something that I don’t think I’ve seen any other baker do.  When they make a cake, they decorate it with cookies.  Most of the decorations on this Very Hungry Caterpillar Cake are cookies.

Here are the cookies used to decorate the cake.    They are terrific; they look like they were created by Eric Carle.
