Fabulous Crup Cake

Crup Cake

This Fabulous Crup Cake was made by Shewhoshallnotbenamed – Juliet Schofield from Marzipan moon & Sugar dust stars / Edna & Ethel’s Cake House.

This Fabulous Crup cake was made for the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Collaboration.

The collaboration of food artists from around the world, known as Birthday Mischief Managed have assembled to debut their second installment of edible art in celebration of world-renowned author, J.K. Rowling’s screenwriting debut and newest movie trilogy – “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”.

“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”, is an A to Z “textbook” of magical creatures that have been featured in the Potter film series and publishing’s of J.K. Rowling. For this collaborative effort some of the beasts were removed from the list inside the textbook and each artist was asked to create the remaining using only their imaginations and the book’s descriptions with sweet edible mediums.  Each artist has dressed for the occasion and transformed themselves into “Magizoologist”. Be sure to visit their pages and read the documents kept about their beast.

Our biggest challenge was resisting the urge to research, (cheat) pictures of our assigned beasts. The group has made sweet magic. My only regret is not having a pet Kneazle.” – Michelle “ChefMitchie” Curran aka Michaeleas Cuuragusta, Headmistress

Here is Juliet’s description of this Fabulous Edible Beast:

have a “Crup” who looks like a Jack Russell (But bigger) and with a rather unusual tail IT’S FORKED!! He is a lovely fella UNLESS he doesn’t get a tipple!! Then he is a bit like me Unbearable!! Of course he only gets one sip (Usually what i spill) then he is like a dog with two tails …… ⯑ His favourite toy is a Yellow Ribbon he can carry that round with him all day its very close to his heart.. He likes his daily constitutional but I have a lovely little woolly pullover that I got from the local WI (Witches Institute) to cover his forked tail so no muggle’s spot “The Tail” We then head off down the toad & spawn for a couple, on the way back he has a Poop conical Shaped (bit like a sorting hat!! Charles loves a good brush BUT HATES if i get the brush caught in his tail… Speaking of Fork tails his is absolutely wonderful on a hot day, I’m always as cool as a cucumber if I keep him happy 🙂 Charles loves his food especially lipopotomus Dung.
