This cute Tom Nook Chiffon Cake was made by Susanne Ng. Susanne specializes in chiffon cakes and has written multiple cookbooks. I’ve made fruit flavored chiffon cakes in the past, but I have no idea how she created such a perfect Tom Nook from a chiffon cake.
The detail is terrific! Tom has light brown fur with brown accents. He has pink on the inside of his ears and blue eyes. Susanne even recreated Tom’s iconic Hawaiian shirt.
Earlier this year, one of my kids gave me a copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I liked it so much that it became one of my favorite video games of 2025. The 3.0 update that comes out in January is probably the game I’m most looking forward to in 2026.
