Today is Superman Day, the perfect time to share this amazing hand painted Christopher Reeve Superman Cake. It was made by Good Gosh Ganache.
This gorgeous cake has three parts. The focal point is the hand painted Christopher Reeve Superman. Superman was painted with a bunch of different shades of blue. Then the cape and Superman’s shield were painted red and gold. The detail on the painting of Christopher Reeve is amazing. It is such a lovely tribute.
The bottom tier of the cake is Metropolis. The buildings are 2-d. They are white or gold with gold accents and black shading. To show their height, some of the buildings are taller than the bottom cake tier.
On top of the cake is the iconic golden globe that is on top of the Daily Planet Building.
The is one of the loviest Superman cakes I’ve ever seen.
