LEGO Batman Cake made by Mike's Amazing Cakes

Today is Batman Day! To celebrate, throughout the day, I’ve been sharing four of my favorite Batman Cakes. My fourth and final cake of the day is this fun LEGO Batman Cake which I first shared way back in 2013.

This amazing LEGO Batman Cake was made by Mike’s Amazing Cakes.  This is the 2nd of Mike McCarey’s cakes I’ve shared today. Mike also made the amazing Batcave cake I shared earlier.  This stunning LEGO Cake was 36 inches tall.  I’ve never seen a LEGO minifigure that looked more delicious.

Batman Cake

Today is Batman Day! To celebrate, throughout the day, I’ll be sharing four of my favorite Batman Cakes. The 3rd cake of the day is this gorgeous sculpted Batman Cake which I first shared way back in 2014.

This amazing Batman Cake was made by Fancy Cakes By Lauren. This sculpted cake features Batman’s black cowl and cape, grey batsuit, and yellow utility belt.  You can see one of Batman’s gloved hands holding the utility belt. The sculpting on this cake is wonderful. I really like how the cape and cowl have folds in them which make them look like they’re made out of completely different material than Batman’s costume.

Art Deco Batman Wedding Cake made by Little Cherry Cake Company

Today is Batman Day! To celebrate, throughout the day, I’ll be sharing four of my favorite Batman Cakes. The 2nd cake of the day is this gorgeous Art Deco Batman Wedding Cake which I first shared in 2017.

I’ve seen gorgeous Art Deco cakes, but this is the only one I’ve ever seen that features Batman.  This is an absolutely stunning cake.

This elegant Batman Wedding Cake is a three tiered cake with the Gotham cityscape on the bottom tier, the Bat-symbol in gold on the middle tier and black bats flying across the top tier. There are two black feathers on the top of the cake. There are stylized gold patterns of lines surrounding the golden Bat-symbol. The Gotham buildings are black with a few golden lights in the windows. This wonderful wedding cake was made by Little Cherry Cake Company.

Here is the back of this lovely cake. I really like this photo because it shows the details of Gotham City.

Batcave Cake made by Mike's Amazing Cakes

Today is Batman Day! To celebrate, throughout the day, I’ll be sharing four of my favorite Batman Cakes. I’m beginning the party with this stunning Batcave Cake which I first shared all the way back in 2014.

This wonderful edible scaled model of the Batcave from the 1966 Batman television series was created by Mike’s Amazing Cakes. Mike McCarey’s Batman cakes are so amazing, I’ll be featuring a second one later today. Everything except the Batmobile is edible. The Batmobile is a die cast model.

This Batcave has the Batcomputer, the Batmobile, an atomic reactor, and many other devices. If you look carefully at the side of the Batcave, you will see the Batpoles. The area looks like an elevator shaft with two long poles in it. The Batpoles lead up to Wayne Manor. Compressed steam caused a platform at the bottom of the Batpoles to go back up to Wayne Manor. Half way down the Batpoles is an Instant Costume-Change Lever so Batman and Robin change into costume as they slide down into the Batcave.  I always loved that special effect in Batman ‘66.  I don’t recall them ever sliding up the Batpoles to get back into Wayne manor.

On the other side of the Batcave is the secret entrance. It is in front of the Batmobile. This Batcave Cake is an edible set designed for the client’s die cast Batmobile. The Batmobile is sitting on the giant turn-table of the Batcave. It rotated the car so it would be facing the secret entrance to the Batcave and be ready for when Batman and Robin needed it.

The Batmobile (not cake!)

Here is a view from the secret entrance.
