Mary Poppins Easter Egg

Mary Poppins Easter Egg

Mary Poppins Easter Egg

This lovely Mary Poppins Easter Egg was made by Karvouniari Areti. It features a silhouette of Mary Poppins flying over London. I really like the use of color on this Easter egg. The egg itself is decorated in a pinkish purple to represent early evening. The moon and stars in the sky are yellow. Mary Poppins and the London skyline are silhouettes since it is evening. This is such a lovely egg.

Awesome Kawaii Mary Poppins Cake

Mary Poppins multi tiered Cake

This awesome kawaii Mary Poppins cake features some of my favorite scenes from this Disney movie.

This wonderful cake was made by Little Cherry Cake Company.

Mary Poppins is standing on top of the cake.

The top tier of the cake is light blue to represent the sky.  There are kites flying to represent the scene of the family flying kites and reminds me of the song Let’s Go Fly A Kite.

With tuppence for paper and strings
You can have your own set of wings
With your feet on the ground
You’re a bird in a flight
With your fist holding tight
To the string of your kite
Oh, oh, oh!
Let’s go fly a kite
Up to the highest height!
Let’s go fly a kite and send it soaring
Up through the atmosphere
Up where the air is clear
Oh, let’s go fly a kite!

Jane and Michael are sitting beside this tier. the birthday name is written in gold letters on the light blue and a red kite has the number 6 for the birthday age.

The bottom tier of the cake has scenes from the chalk drawing they jumped into. It has a horse from the carousel. Three penguins are beside this tier. Bert is sitting near the horse.

Tracey has a terrific tutorial on how she made this amazing cake.

Let’s Go Fly A Kite With This Adorable Mary Poppins Cake

Mary Poppins Cake

For the next three days I am going to be featuring marvelous cakes made by Corina Venegas, Pasteles de azúcar.  This adorable cake features Mary Poppins flying over a town while holding onto a tail of a kite.  There are three clouds – one has a bird on it, another has a penguin wearing a bow tie, and the last has Mary’s umbrella.  This last cloud is actually above the cake.  The cake itself solid white with no details.  Everything else was hand drawn and them attached to the cake.  This gives the cake an amazing 3-D effect. Almost everything except for the bird, Mary, the kite, and the umbrella’s handle are in black and white.  This makes your eyes focus on Mary.  This is one of the prettiest Mary Poppins cakes that I’ve seen.

What if Mary Poppins was the opposite of Practically Perfect? This Disney cake shows her as someone who has trouble fitting everything into her suitcase.

This amazing cake was made by Silvia Mancini Cake art & Co. The sign on the cake reads Mary Poppins NOT practically perfect in every way.

This wonderful cake is part of the Disney Deviant Sugar Art collaboration which features amazing worldwide artists who have created cakes and sugar art inspired by Disney characters.
