These great Grinch Chocolate Covered Strawberries were made by Sammy’s Strawberries. There are six berries in this set. The main strawberry is the head of the Grinch. The Grinch has a giant grin. My favorite touch is that Sammy made a Santa Hat that goes on top of the Grinch. Another berry shows that the Grinch’s heart is two sizes too small. There is a berry of the Grinch stealing a Christmas ornament. One strawberry has the words The Grinch written in green and red. Two of the berries are decorated with green, red and yellow Christmas lights. My guess is that one of those lights won’t light on one side.
Sammy’s use of color is wonderful. He only uses the colors required for the Grinch – black, white, green, red and yellow. Each berry is then designed to use just those colors. All six strawberries have red and green on them. Since the Grinch’s eyes are yellow, Sammy adds yellow lights to the berries with the Christmas lights. Otherwise, the only yellow would be the Grinch’s eyes. These little touches make these chocolate strawberries blend together perfectly.
