These magnificent Star Wars 40th Birthday Cupcakes were sent to me by Helen from Love is Cake. These cupcakes feature the Death Star, an X-wing Fighter, a TIE Fighter, and a Snowspeeder. I really like how each space craft looks like it is flying in space.
The Death Star is a raised dome. It has little darker grey panels. You can see the iconic divot where the superlaser is located. There are little perforations in the middle of the cupcake. That’s where center trench is.
You need to veer off. That X-Wing fighter cupcake is coming straight at you. It’s wings are open and four main weapon systems are pointed right at you.
The X-Wing is going as fast as it can because behind it the Death Star is blowing up behind it. I really like how the flaming explosion of the Death Star are above and below the X-Wing, it almost looks like a mouth of flame is about the swallow Vader’s X-Wing.
The fourth and final ship is a snowspeeder. Helen has it flying in outer space, but that is intentional. These gorgeous 40th birthday cupcakes have a grey, black and red color scheme. A white and red snowspeeder on a white cupcake wouldn’t have worked with the rest of this set. I think it is so cool that Helen added the snowspeeder because it doesn’t get featured that often.
