Betty Boop Cake

Betty Boop Cake

This sculpted Betty Boop cake is a representation of her head and the top of her dress. The cake was covered in white fondant for her skin, black fondant for her hair, and red fondant for her dress.

This wonderful cake was made by Sweet4U by WenPetite. The cake board is covered in small red hearts and hollow red hearts.  She is wearing gold bracelets and gold earrings.  Her eyes, mouth, and the expression on her face look terrific.

These red white & black Betty Boop cupcakes are round pieces of white fondant that have hand-drawings of Betty Boop in different poses. The only color is black and red. Pudgy, her dog, is drawn on one of the cupcakes. Pudgy first appeared in 1934 in a film called Betty Boop’s Little Pal. He appeared regularly with Betty Boop as her pet.

These wonderful cupcakes were made by Polvo de Almendra.

These Marvelous Betty Boop Birthday Cookies were made by You Can Call Me Sweetie.

One Betty Boop cookie has Betty Boop winking and saying Happy Birthday.

Another Betty Boop cookie has red hearts and the words Betty Boop.

Another Betty Boop cookie is a red heart shaped cookie with Betty Boop in the middle.

I enjoyed seeing Betty Boop in Disney’s Who Framed Roger Rabbit. She was black and white in her appearance in the movie.

Betty Boop was originally done as a caricature of Helen Kane. She first appeared in 1930.
