Black Widow Cake Topper

Simone Lopez made this awesome Black Widow Cake Topper. This wonderful cake topper features Scarlett Johansson’s version of the Black Widow from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Natasha Romanoff has red hair that looks like it is blowing in the wind. She is wearing her skintight black costume. The costume’s belt buckle has the Black Widow logo on it. She has a holster on each side, but they’re empty because she has a revolver in each hand.

This fantastic edible figure of Natasha Romanoff is standing on top of a square cake that look like a piece of marble.

Incredibly, this stunning figure was made using modeling chocolate and sugar paste.

Beautiful Black Widow Cake

Black Widow Cake

This Stunning Black Widow Cake was made by Ant Roman of Nerdache Cakes. Ant created this Avengers cake bust in celebration of the move: Avengers: Age of Ultron. She had fans vote on which Avenger to make as a cake and the vote tally was an overwhelming request for Black Widow.

Natasha Romanoff, aka, Black Widow, is wearing a black leather jacket. She has her eyes closed and her lips pursed like she is about to kiss someone.  Could it be Hawkeye?

She is wearing a golden arrow necklace.  This could be a hint about a relationship between her and Hawkeye.

There are white roses with specks of red blood all over them.  These roses allude to the remark that Black Widow makes, “I’ve got red in my ledger; I’d like to wipe it out.”

Black Widow was made using the fan-favorite cake flavor Red on my Ledger. Red on my Ledger is a chocolate chunk cake with cherry pie style syrup filling, dark chocolate shavings, and light whipped cream frosting.  This was a perfect choice considering that this is a Black Widow cake. Black Widow’s face was made using Rice Krispies Treats. Every one of her eyelashes were individually rolled using black fondant and placed onto her face.

Here’s a great shot of her brown eyebrows, her black eye lashes, and her red lips. You can see the separate strands of her red hair. The detail of the cake is amazing.

Fabulous Black Widow Cookies

Black Widow Cookies

Black Widow Cookies

These wonderful Black Widow Cookies were made by Shelly Schwartz. These cookies have two designs – the Black Widow logo and a close-up of Natasha Romanova in her classic Silver Age costume.

Have you ever seen the classic cartoon series Rocky and Bullwinkle? If so, you probably remember their famous foes Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale. In Tales of Suspense #52 (the comic book featuring Iron Man at the time), two Russian spies were introduced – Boris and Natasha named after the characters from Rocky and Bullwinkle. Boris wasn’t a very good character, for example he lifted desks over his head rather than walk around them because it was less work. But, Madame Natasha, aka the Black Widow, showed some promise and appeared again in the next issue.

In Tales of Suspense #64, The Black Widow was given her first costume. It was a one piece costume with a cape, domino mask, boots, gloves, and fishnet coverings on her arms and legs. No one could decide what color the costume should be. Sometimes it was blue and black, sometimes greyish black and even occasionally green. I really like that costume, but it was very much a product of its time.

In Amazing Spider-Man #86, the Black Widow would get a major makeover. Her hair would become much longer and red and her costume would be a skintight blueish black costume. This costume was extremely popular and almost every costume Natasha has had since then has been a variation of this one.

Shelly’s wonderful cookies feature Natasha with her long red hair and her silver age black costume.
