Millennium Falcon Cake

This Splendid Millennium Falcon Cake features the characters of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This Superb Star Wars Cake was made by Cakey Cake

This cake was twenty two inches long and was sculpted using chocolate cake. Over four hundred individual sugar past pieces were cut and placed on the cake.

Edible Han Solo, Chewbacca, Finn, Rey, and BB-8 LEGO mini-figures are standing in front of this cake.

The cake board is purple and black to represent outer space. The birthday name and age are written in yellow letters on the corner of the cake board.

This Marvelous LEGO Millennium Falcon Birthday Cake was made by Cakes by Ying.

There are two LEGO figures of Yoda and Darth Vader in front of the Millennium Falcon. These Star Wars characters have their red and green lightsabers out dueling one another. This is yet another battle between the Dark Side of the Force and the Light Side of the Force.

Millennium Falcon Wedding Cake

This terrific Millennium Falcon Wedding Cake was made by the amazing Debbie Goard from Debbie Does Cakes.  The detail on the Millennium Falcon is wonderful.  This is one wedding cake that I’d feel guilty serving.  I really like how the Millennium Falcon looks like it is just coming out of hyperspace because all the stars are still distorted.  The blue lights on the front of the Falcon add to the effect.

If you haven’t been able to tell from my 350+ Star Wars posts, I am a massive Star Wars fan.  I am hooked on the movie, books, and comics.  I am extremely excited about The Force Awakens.  For the 2nd time in my life, I’m thrilled that there are more Star Wars movies.

When the Return of The Jedi came out, there was talk that there would be two other Star Wars trilogies.  One set before New Hope and another set after Return of the Jedi.  People weren’t sad when Return of the Jedi ended because everyone assumed that there would be six more movies.  A few years after Return of the Jedi, it began to look like these three movie were the only Star Wars movies we’d ever get.  So I was thrilled 16 years later when The Phantom Menace came out.  To this day, I still enjoy The Phantom Menace.

Even though it is the darkest of the Star Wars movies, I really like the Revenge of the Sith.  But, it was bittersweet seeing it because everyone thought it would be the final Star Wars movie.

It’s been a decade and Star Wars is back!!! It is introducing new characters who I can’t wait to meet and bring back old favorites like Han Solo, Luke, Leia, Chewie, and the Falcon.

To quote the old TV show theme song:

Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back.
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back.
