Janette Macpherson of Cake Craft made this wonderful Wicket Cake as a fundraiser for the Loch Ness RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) team. The RNLI is a charitable organization that was founded to save lives at sea in the United Kingdom by providing 24 hour lifeboat search and rescue service and seasonal lifeguard service. The Ewok cake was raffled off at the Glen Urquhart Highland Games. Warwick Davis, the actor who played Wicket in Star Wars Episode III: Return of the Jedi, helped with the raffle by drawing the winning ticket which determined the winner of this great cake. It must have been great to have the winner of this edible Wicket announced by ‘Wicket’ himself. This Star Wars cake features Wicket standing in a brown clearing surrounded by piles of green leaves. This Ewok is holding his spear in his hand. I always thought these fuzzy teddy bear creatures added an element of cuteness to the forest moon of Endor.
