Today is the 50th Anniversary of Star Trek: The Original Series. This cake features the Star Trek logo and the Enterprise flying by the bight orange planet in the opening credits of Star Trek: The Original Series. I thought this was the perfect cake to lead off this Celebration of Star Trek because today is the 50th Anniversary of the broadcast of the first episode of Star Trek: The Original Series.
