Marvelous Batgirl ’66 Cake

This wonderful Batgirl ‘66 Cake was made by Mayra Prado Estrada from Cake Creations by ME. 

This splendid cake was made for the Cake Con Collaboration. Cake Con is a collaboration featuring amazing artists who have created sugar art inspired by TV series, comics & video game characters.  Mayra is the coordinator of this terrific collaboration.

This cake features Yvonne Craig’s Batgirl from Batman ‘66.

Here is Mayra description of her cake:

My inspiration was Batgirl the Original. I grew up watching the series of Batman & Robin and loved her character. She is made out of modeling chocolate then covered with Satin Ice fondant & gumpaste. For the brick backdrop, I used Marvelous Molds Brick Onlay then dusted with edible powder dusts. I airbrushed the dome with my Paasche Airbrush system using Rainbow Dust Colours metallic edible paints.
