This Marvelous Purple Steampunk Wedding Cake was made by Violet Lin Tran of The Violet Cake Shop located in Markham, Ontario, Canada.
This Marvelous cake was created for the Steam Cakes – Steampunk Collaboration. To celebrate the Steampunk International Day, Cake Artists from around the world gathered to create their own edible Steampunk masterpieces.
The top layer of this cake is a black Victorian top hat. There is a gold heart in the center of the hat. Gears are inside the heart.
The middle layer of this wedding cake is purple with a purple lace design. The bottom layer of the cake has delicate gold inlays of gears with lots of tiny filagree. The layer has a purple curtain on the top and a small part of curtain hanging down on each side.
