Earlier this year, I found a Christmas tradition that I think is really cool. A bunch of bakers around the world make Harry Potter Cookie Advent Calendars. This wonderful advent calendar was made by Пряники Дніпро Україна.
The calendar includes 25 ginger bread cookies. Each cookie is numbered from 1 to 25 and features one person or item from the world of Harry Potter. For example, 1 is Harry Potter, 13 is Hedwig, 9 is Harry’s glasses and 21 is Hogwarts. All 25 cookies are unique.
My favorite part is that many of Harry Potter images are Christmas Themed. 17 has Hagrid putting a star on top of his Christmas tree. Hagrid is so short, he can’t reach the top of the tree, so he has climbed up on two Christmas presents.
20 features Dobby. If you look closely instead of a sock, Dobby has a Christmas stocking.
