When arranged correctly, six of these cookies make the image of a pumpkin patch.
Another cookie features Lucy at her psychiatry booth. The signs on her booth have been changed. The top reads “Thanksgiving Pies 5 cents”. At that price, I’ll purchase a few!!! The bottom of the booth reads “The Pumpkin is In”. There are three pies visible. It looks like Lucy is dressed in a pilgrim’s costume for Thanksgiving.
Linus is chilling sucking his thumb and holding onto his blanket.
Poor Sally looks like she’s complaining loudly about something. I love the contrast between Charlie Brown and Sally. Both characters are about the insecurities of life. Charlie Brown is mild mannered and represses his feeling. Sally is the opposite, she is strong willed and constantly over expresses her feelings. Because of this, readers of Peanuts can relate to both characters.

Snoopy, who always ends up cooking every Thanksgiving, is wearing a chef’s hat and apron and carrying a roasted turkey.
Elizabeth did something absolutely brilliant with these cookies that I’ve never seen done before. If someone says the word pumpkin with the names Charlie Brown, Linus or Snoopy, the odds are the listener is going to think of either the Great Pumpkin or the iconic Halloween Special about the great pumpkin.
If you ask an America about what holiday a pumpkin pie belongs with, you’ll get a few people who rightfully say Christmas. But, the majority are going to say Thanksgiving.
Playing off of these, Elizabeth makes six pumpkin patch puzzle cookies. But because the other cookies are about Thanksgiving and Pumpkin Pies, I associate this pumpkin patch with Thanksgiving not the Great Pumpkin.
