Awesome Live Action Mulan Cake

Live Action Mulan Cake

This orange live action Mulan cake shows Mulan holding a sword and a live Mushu behind her.  The baker description of the cake says that she used the cherry blossoms on the cake to represent the gentle side of Mulan. The fire and Mushu represent the fighting side. She shows Mulan with a transcendent look.

This wonderful cake was made by Sarah Hariz – Cake Design

It looks like this terrific Mulan was drawn onto a separate piece of fondant that is in front of the cake. The red, orange, and yellow flames look like they were made using isomalt.

Some of the cherry blossoms were painted onto the cake and others are 3-D flowers sticking out from the cake.

Since she made this cake before the movie, this was her vision of a live action Mulan with a live Mushu.

Terrific Mulan Cookies

Mulan Cookies

These terrific Mulan cookies make a nice treat for a birthday party.

These wonderful Mulan cookies were made by Cookie Rouge.

The birthday name is on a pink cookie that is framed with a red frame.

There is a red pea pot cookie with a gold handle and a pink Japanese fan cookie with red trim. A portrait of Mulan is on a cookie.

A number two has cherry blossoms on it. The cherry blossoms remind me of the scene in Mulan where Mulan’s dad is sitting under the Cherry Tree when she returns from the Matchmaker and he says to her,   “My, my, what beautiful blossoms we have this year. But look! This one’s late. But I’ll bet that when it blooms, it will be the most beautiful of all.”

And once again he is under the cherry tree and Mulan approaches him after returning from the war and he says to her “The greatest gift and honor is having you for a daughter.”

Terrific Mulan Bridal Cookies

Mulan Cookies 2

These terrific Mulan cookies feature Mulan dressed as a bride, Mushu, and Cri-Kee.

These wonderful cookies were made by Brittany’s Cookie Co.

These cookies represent one of the funniest scenes in the movie. While helping Mulan prepare, her grandmother gives her a cricket just for luck so even she can’t blow it. Mulan is dressed as a bride with white paint on her face to appear before the matchmaker.  After the cricket gets loose, a hilarious set of events takes place that ends with Mulan dumping tea on the matchmaker to put out a fire.

The cherry tree cookie reminds me of the scene where her father is standing under the cherry tree as she returns from the matchmaker and he tells her, ‘the flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all.’

The cricket cookie is a pencil drawing of Cri-Kee. I love how the grandmother proves he’s a lucky cricket.

The Mushu cookie reminds me of when he and Mulan first met.

Mulan Cookies 3

The comb cookie represents the comb she wore in her hair when she went to meet the matchmaker.
