Here is Timbo’s description of this Fabulous cake:

Where The Wild Things Are is the first book I read by myself as a child in first grade, and one of the only books I remember having. I was a big day-dreamer when I was young, so I really liked reading books about kids using their imagination. I’m almost positive this book is the reason I’m so into fantasy and monsters now. I chose to make my favorite “wild thing”, Carol. Ironically, this book that I started reading my first year of school ever….was turned into a movie the year I graduated.

Here is Kelli’s description of this Fabulous cake:

Picking ‘Where The Wild Things Are’ book for me, was a no-brainer. It was the first book I ever read by myself as a child, and the first book I bought for my son when I found out I was pregnant. It quickly became his favourite book as well! One day when my son was 1, I walked into his room and he was reading ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ by himself, word for word. I watched in amazement thinking that my baby clearly was a genius…until he ‘read’ the words that I always made up to explain what was happening on the pages with no writing. Ratty, worn out, and taped together, having gone through 2 more kids, ‘Where The Wild Things Are’ will always be our family favourite.
