Winnie The Pooh Loves Honey Chiffon Cake

Winnie the Pooh Honey Chiffon Cake

I make a yummy Chiffon Cake, so when I saw this Winnie the Pooh Honey Chiffon Cake I wanted to share it. This is the second of three daily posts featuring Winnie the Pooh sweets made by the amazing Kokoma Cake. I really like how the Chiffon Cake is hollow and made with two colors so it looks like a Hunny Pot. The little cake figure of Winnie the Pooh holding the Hunny Pot and grinning is adorable. If you come back tomorrow, I’ll have one more sweet Winnie the Pooh treat from Kokoma Cake.

The Finest Winnie The Pooh Cake In The Hundred Acre Wood

Winnie The Pooh Cake

Last fall, I got my first Jim Shore statue.  It is an adorable Christmas themed Winnie the Pooh statue.  It is so cute that it is the only Christmas decoration that I leave up year round.  When I first saw pictures of this cake online, I didn’t even realize it was a cake.  I honestly believed that it was another Jim Shore statue.  This absolutely stunning Winnie the Pooh Cake was made by Suganana. This cake features Winnie the Pooh sitting in front of his house and eating honey out of a pot.  Eeyore and Lumpy are on each side of him. Tigger’s head is sticking out of the foliage at the top of the tree.  Piglet is sitting on top of the tree holding a balloon.

The tree and figures are teriffic, but the thing which blows my mind is the variety of textures used on this cake.  Pooh, Eeyore, Lumpy, and the base of the tree which is at the bottom of the cake look more like porcelain than fondant.  You can see the texture in the tree’s bark.  The door frame and sign above it, while also wooden, have a different texture from the rest of the tree.  The amount of detail on the foliage at the top of tree is amazing.

This is one of the finest Winnie the Pooh cakes I’ve ever seen.

The bottom layer of the cake is light blue like the sky. There is a hand painting of Pooh and Piglet sitting in the green grass. It is made to look like the drawings in the books about Winnie the Pooh by A.A. Milne.

Pooh is wearing his bunny ears while holding a newly hatched baby chick. The bunny ears are white with pink middles. The yellow chick has its wings outstretched and it has just popped out of a blue egg.

There is a brown wicker Easter basket with green leaves full of eggs beside Pooh. The basket has a pink bow tied onto the handle of the basket. The eggs are blue, red, and orange.  The top of the cake is green to represent grass. The top border of the cake is composed of green leaves, white daisies, and a pink butterfly in the front of the cake. A wooden brown fence section with a green vine and a pink butterfly is just behind Pooh.

The side of the cake is yellow. There are piles of gray rocks with green plants and white daisies that alternate with light brown wooden gates along the side of the cake. The cake board is yellow to match the side of the cake. There is a pink ribbon on the side of the cake board.
