This adorable Rapunzel cake was made by Cake Central Member M. Fruchey. The head and bodice were hand-sculpted and made from a fondant/gumpaste blend. Rapunzel’s dress is cake. The bottom tier was painted to resemble the artwork Rapunzel painted inside her tower. The bottom the tier is decorated with a brick portion to represent the tower wall (sort of like you were seeing part inside/part outside of the tower). Other touches include a tiny Pascal on Rapunzel’s shoulder, and Rapunzel herself is holding a palette and brush.
Rapunzel’s face and hair are wonderful.
