This Terrific Mary Poppins 5th Birthday Cake was made by Mardie Makes Cakes.
The top of the cake has a silhouette of Mary Poppins flying over the rooftops of London with her umbrella in one hand and her bag in her other hand.
Beside Mary Poppins is a green kite with a number 5 to represent the birthday age. This reminds me of the scene at the end of the movie where Mr. Banks and the Banks children are flying kites.
The bottom layer of the cake has red, orange, and white stripes just like Bert’s jacket in Jolly Holiday with Mary inside the chalk picture. The penguins are waiters in the scene.
The purple and white carousel horse remind me of when Bert, Mary Poppins, and Jane and Michael ride the carousel horses in the horse race.
The name of the Birthday person in written in blue letters on the side of the cake.
