I made this 65th Wedding Anniversary cake for my husband’s parents.
I wanted to make a special cake for them for this momentous occasion.
The snow flakes are made from edible lace. This was the first time I tried to make lace. It turned out well except I did not wrap it well enough so it hardened and could not be bent.
I used an extruder to make the rope border.
I like the contrast of the navy blue and white.
A piece of edible lace on the top of the cake has the initials of the happy couple on top.
