This Minnie Mouse Hot Air Balloon Cake features her riding in wicker gondola or the basket of a hot air balloon.
This wonderful cake was made by Kalite Pasta. Minnie was expertly created using fondant and the light brown wicker basket below her is also fondant. I love the wafer paper butterflies that are flying around the outside of the balloon. In addition, white fondant clouds surround the basket. The gold stripes and polka-dots on the balloon are a nice touch.
The cake has a nice light pink color scheme. The pink Minnie Mouse head on the top tier matches the pink of the balloon. Also the butterflies match the ones flying around the balloon.
