Since today is Father’s Day, I wanted to spotlight my one of my favorite Dad / Son combos – Goofy and Max.
This A Goofy Movie Hand-Painted cake features the famous scene from ‘A Goofy Movie” where Max and Goofy are riding down the river on top of the car. This picture appeared on the VCR case for the movie. The cake is behind the image. This is a 6 by 6 inch square piece of fondant that the image was painted onto. I let the fondant square harden for a few days before painting it. That way it would stand on its own in front of the cake and cold be attached with a little bit of ganache. The reason for this unique design is that I way flying with this cake. I wrapped the cake extremely well and then wrapped the hand painted fondant square flat so that it wouldn’t break.
