Since a new Toy Story movie is coming out this weekend, I thought this was the perfect time to spotlight my favorite Toy Story cakes.
This great Toy Story 4th Birthday Cake was made by OLANOS Cakes. This is a two layer cake that looks like Sheriff Woody’s clothes. The top layer looks like Woody’s vest and shirt. Since this is a 4th birthday cake, Woody’s sheriff badge has the number four on it. The bottom layer looks like Woody’s jeans with his belt and buckle. I never notice it before this cake but the belt buckle is a star with a lasso circle around it. Sheriff Woody is sitting on top of the cake. On the cake board are Buzz Lightyear, Slinky Dog, Mr. Potato Head, and Hamm. The Pixar ball, an Etch-A-Sketch, and coins that have fallen out of Hamm are on the ground. Since he is so short, Mr. Potato Head is standing on a wooden alphabet block. As is always the case with Olanos’ amazing cakes, the figures are absolutely wonderful. This is such a beautiful cake!
This Spectacular Toy Story 2nd Birthday Cake was made by Kidacity. This Disney Cake features Sheriff Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Bullseye, Hamm, Rex, and a Little Green Man. All figures were made using gum paste with the details painted on. Notice that Rex is eating the 2 and notice that the phrase “To infinity and beyond” is on the back of the cake. The white clouds on the sky blue cake and the western wooden fence on the brown cake are a nice touch.

This terrific Sheriff Woody & Friends 5th Birthday Cake was made by Carlos Moreno, Cake Designer. Carlos also made the wonderful Buzz Lightyear & Friends 7th Birthday Cake which is the next cake in this post.
The top of the cake has a shipping box with Woody coming out of it. The layer beneath looks like Woody’s clothes and has a large 5 on it.
The next layer has the birthday boy’s name in a star burst. Jessie is standing beside this layer.
The bottom layer looks like a wooden fence. Bo Peep is standing on one side.
Last and definitely least is Stinky Pete, the Prospector.
This is Carlos’ terrific Buzz Lightyear & Friends 7th Birthday Cake. It is a three layer cake. The top layer is dark blue with red and green stars on it and the number 7. Buzz Lightyear is sitting on top of this layer. The Pizza Planet Rocket is flying past. There is also a little green man standing beside this layer.
The middle layer is also dark blue with red and green stars on it. It has the birthday boy’s name and the Space Ranger logo on it. There are two little green men on the side of this layer.
The bottom layer looks like Buzz’s spacesuit with the wings extended. Evil Emperor Zurg is standing beside this layer.
I can’t decide which I like more the Buzz Lightyear Cake Topper or the Pizza Planet Rocket with the flames shooting from behind it.
I really like how the one little green man is floating in the air.

Speaking of Zurg – This marvelous Evil Emperor Zurg Cake was made by Cupcakes By Design. The attention to detail on Zurg is amazing. It looks more like an action figure than a cake of Buzz Lightyear’s arch enemy.
