Who needs a Christmas Tree when you can decorate Groot? This great Groot Christmas Cake was made by Couture Di Sucre – Cakes. It features a young Groot wrapped in Christmas lights. He is standing in the snow. There are a candy cane, a peppermint candy and a Christmas present in front of him. Groot has one arm out and is holding a snowflake. He has a slight smile on his face, so I think he is enjoying himself.

This Little Groot Birthday Cake Is Too Cute!

Groot Birthday Cake

This wonderful Groot Birthday Cake was made by Copcake Cakery.  The design is inspired by Jam Cakes.  I really like the minimalist design of Groot.  It makes the eyes, mouth, and top of Groot’s head really stand out. On a busier cake, they wouldn’t necessarily have been as noticeable.  I also really like the contrasts between how smooth Groot’s face is and how jagged top of his head is. Again, this makes both parts of the cake really pop. The workmanship on the jagged edges and the plant growing out of his head are terrific.  All these elements combined to make this an absolutely adorable cake!

Thanks to the awesome Jeff Rothman for sending this to me on Twitter. This amazing gingerbread sculpture of Groot was made by Caroline Eriksson.  Caroline makes one massive gingerbread sculpture annually.  The detail on Groot is mindboggling.

Terrific Groot and Rocket Cake

Groot and Rocket Cake

This Terrific Groot and Rocket cake features a large bust of Groot and Rocket standing on his shoulder.  I really like these two Guardians of the Galaxy characters.  They make a great pair.
