This cool Steampunk Alice in Wonderland Cake was made by Sweet Janis by Barbara Luraschi. My first post today was another Steampunk Alice in Wonderland Cake also by Barbara. I love how Barbara was able to take the theme of Steampunk Alice in Wonderland and create two vastly different interpretations. This cake features Alice holding a white rabbit and sitting on two brass balls. There is a pocket watch standing up beside her. The pocket watch is decorated with gears and a hat. The cake is looks like it is made of wood and metal, It has a key to wind it up. The cake board is decorated so that it looks like it is made from the same metal as the cake.
Here is a close-up of Alice holding the white rabbit. Alice is wearing fairly traditional white and blue dress and has glasses on top of her head.
Here is a close-up of the steampunk pocket watch. There are three gears decorating the side of the watch. The pocket watch is wearing (?) a hat which looks like a little like a steampunk version of the Mad Hatter’s Hat.
