Here are Maria de los Angeles Castro and Garbiel Castillo’s bio:

First of all we introduce ourselves: we are, Maria de los Angeles Castro and Gabriel Castillo, a married couple, that since 1985 are dedicated to artisan pastry and cake decorating. For many years we were specialists and drivers on the television program “Tortas y Pasteles” of “Utilísima Satelital” and “Fox Life”. We published many of our works in the magazine “Tortas de Utilísima paso a paso” where we work exclusively for “Disney”. The book “Tortas Decoradas” was published sponsored by “Disney-Pixar” where several of our works were republished. Also we participate in international events where we share our work with other professionals in this incomparable art. At first, for the first time, we shared our lessons with the public at Expo Utilísima 2005 and 2006 in Buenos Aires and from there came the idea of teaching courses for the interior of our country, so we did and then, in 2009, started to teach courses abroad, we had the opportunity to share our classes in Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Argentina, Ecuador, Brazil, Bolivia, USA, Spain, Peru, Portugal, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, repeatedly. We were appointed by “Satin Ice” “Artists of Excellence” in New York and recently received the “Top 10 International Cake Artists Award” with enormous pride. This is a wonderful experience where teaching is also learning, sharing and finding new friends and colleagues.

Dance To The Tango Cake

Here is Maria and Garbiel’s description of this Fabulous cake:

In this paper we wanted to represent the Argentine Tango in one of its most representative areas. We are located in the neighborhood of Caminito – Buenos Aires – Argentina. Cobblestone streets on their multicolored buildings stand as a center of attraction, a couple dancing the tango accompanied by the ubiquitous throughout lantern tango neighborhood. The decoration of the front of the cake represents the typical Buenos Aires filleting which in this case is made of modeling sugar, as the Argentina completion tape.
