Artist’s description of this piece:
My inspiration is the three movies that I loved when I was a child, about a beautiful Totoro, God of nature, some PomPokos who defended their home in nature and a great pilot who turned into a pig man, called Porco Rosso.
Wonderful works that today inspire me to create with imagination.

My piece is a wheel of fortune made in biscuit and decorated with Royal Icing, in which I have made the characters from the Ghibli movies that I love the most such as My Neighbour Totoro, Ponyo, Mononoke Hime, Spirited Away , The Secret World of Arriety, Grave of the Fireflies, the Castle in the Sky
The characters are realised in Royal Icing transfers with many details in dimensions.
It has been very difficult to choose between all of them since I love each and every one of their films !! It’s a cookie decorated with real frosting, the characters are made in glase transfers with dimensions
This wonderful cake was made by Chrissy Askew from AsQ Cakes.
Artist’s description of this piece:
I am a huge fan of Hayao Miyazaki’s work! I jumped at the chance to be a part of this collaboration! With it being character based I wanted to incorporate many of my favorite characters and also pay tribute to their creator hence where the idea to have them all peering through Hayao’s glasses came from, almost watching themselves be created!
