I made this Animal Crossing Wedding Cake Topper from my niece’s wedding. Each figure matches the animal crossing character of the bride and groom. I used light weight air drying clay and an acrylic base to make the wedding cake topper very light so that internal support was not required to put it on the wedding cake.

Here’s a picture of the other side of the figures. The cake is a six inch by five inch cake covered in fondant. I used a Damisk pattern for the fondant. I first made the fondant pattern. Then placed the fondant on the cake. I placed the top of the cake first, then the side panel around the cake.
