This marvelous Jack Skellington & Mad Hatter Mashup Cake was made by Angel Torres. The workmanship on this cake is amazing.
This is a 3-D sculpted cake of the Tim Burton’s Mad Hatter from the waist up. Of course, the Mad Hatter is wearing a hat! It is orangish yellow and has large purple hat band. Sticking out of the hat band is the iconic 10/6 size card, three small feathers and one large feather that looks like it came from a peacock. The Mad Hatter also has bushy orange hair and eye brows.
So far, everything I’ve covered would be standard in a sculpted Mad Hatter cake. Here is where Jack Skellington enters the picture. The Mad Hatter’s face is Jack Skellington’s. The face is a skeleton with empty eye sockets, empty nostrils and a boney mouth.
The figure is wearing a bow tie that mixes Jack and the Mad Hatters. It is a purple bow tie with green splotches. But, it has a bat head sticking our the middle and bat wings can be seen behind the bow.
The character is wearing a brown suit and yellow shirt with frilly cuffs. He has boney hands.
This cake is so cool, I’d feel guilty cutting into it.
