What do you get when you mix Jim Lee & Scott Williams’ amazing detailed artwork with one of the best pumpkin artists around? This stunning Batman HUSH pumpkin! Joey Edwards spent approximately 26 to 27 hours on this carving. Joey carved this on an 18” Boland model Funkin foam pumpkin.
The image Joey used is from the famous 12 issue Batman story arc HUSH by Jeph Loeb, Jim Lee and Scott Williams.
This is an image of Batman and Catwoman. They’re leaning into each other like they are about to kiss. They’re so close that their foreheads are touching. Batman is stroking Catwoman’s cheek, while Catwoman is pulling Batman towards her by the collar of Batman’s cape. Both have their mouths open and are looking down. This scene takes place in the rain, so rain is falling from the sky and running down their faces.
This is a close-up, so all you see of Batman is his cowl and a little bit of his costume and cape. Catwoman also has a cowl, so you can see her cowl’s cat ears point up. But her cowl covers less of her face. She is usually wearing goggles that strap on over her cowl. In this case, the goggles are pushed up and resting on her forehead. A bunch of her hair is sticking out.
The detail on this carving is unbelievable. It is absolutely gorgeous.
