This magical Patronus Pumpkin Carving was made by Longstocking Creates Carves. It features Harry Potter conjuring his Patronus which is a stag.
There are two things that make this carving exceptional. First, look at the way the Patronus is framed so that your eyes are naturally drawn to it. Harry is at the bottom of the carving conjuring the Stag. Harry is outside, so there are trees on both the left and right edges of the carving. I must have looked at this image a dozen times before I caught this – what looks like a full moon at the top of the carving, is actually Hogwarts with a glow behind it.
The second thing that makes this carving astonishing is the lighting. It’s amazingly detailed, just look at the tiny sparkles around Harry. But my favorite part of the pumpkin is the way multiple colors of lighting were used. Parts of the lightning are yellow, parts are violet and parts are a blend of both. I’ve seen plenty of wonderful carvings that use colored lighting, but few blend two colors as well as this amazing pumpkin does.
