Marvel Unlimited has over 30,ooo comics books on it. That’s both the coolest thing and worst thing about Marvel Unlimited. It can be overwhelming and really hard to find stuff.
For example, if you go to search and type in “Spider-Man”, you get 14,828 results. That number will continue to grow because Marvel Unlimited keeps adding new content every week.
For this round of Super-Blog Team-Up, we’re focusing on Staff Picks. So, I thought it would be really useful to focus specifically on Spider-Man Comics on Marvel Unlimited. Since Between the Pages is a Pop Culture Cake and Cookie Blog, I’ll also be serving some sweet treats featuring Spider-Man and his amazing friends.
We’re dividing our Super-Blog Team-Up into four categories: Classic Pick, Dollar Bin Classic, Collectors Key & Personal Fave New Title.
Remember the song The Candy Man? Sammy Davis Jr. sings “You can even eat this dishes.” This lovely Spider-Man Cookie Jar is a cookie with more Spider-Man cookies inside. These brilliant cookies were made by My Sweet Stories.
Classic Pick – Spectacular Spider-Man (1968) #1
In the late 1960s, Marvel launched a Spider-Man magazine – The Spectacular Spider-Man. The magazine only lasted two issues. The first issue was black and white and the second was in color. This is the black and white issues and I think it is one of the prettiest Spider stories ever published.
This wonderful Miles Morales 5th Birthday Cake was made by Tsar Bakery. It features Mile dressed in his black and red Spider-Man costume hanging upside down. Behind and above Miles is New York City, a bridge, and the number five.
Dollar Bin Classic – Marvel Team-Up (1972 – 1985)
Obviously, Marvel Unlimited doesn’t have a dollar bin, but if it did, a bunch of Marvel Team-Up would be in it. The premise of this series is simple, every month Spidey teamed up with someone from the Marvel universe. The team ups ranged from the expected like Spider-Man and Captain America to the unusual like Spidey and Howard the Duck. I recommend just scanning the covers and picking a team up that looks fun to you.

Collectors Key – The Amazing Spider-Man (1963) #121
I don’t want to spoil this issue, so the only thing I’ll say is don’t read the synopsis for this issue.
Wow, talk about one great Venom Cake! The face of Venom on the cake is so creepy. This marvelous cake was made by Sugar Ranch Cookies & Cakes.
Personal Fave New Title – Infinity Comics
An Infinity Comic is a comic book formatted for phones and tablets; Instead of going from panel to panel, you just scroll down. This is the same format used by WebToon but without the coins or ads.
Marvel usually adds at least five Infinity Comics each week. Every Friday, they produce an Infinity Comic specifically geared to little kids. Most Infinity Comics are brand new, but some are popular storylines converted to the this easy to read format.
When you open Marvel Unlimited, you should be on the home page. Scroll down about 2/3rds of the way. Right after the icons for the most popular characters, you’ll see a section labeled Marvel’s Infinity Comics. Open this section – there have been a hundreds of Infinity Comics featuring characters from the Spider-Verse.
