I’m currently listening to Audible’s amazing full cast audiobooks of the Harry Potter series, so I wanted to feature something Harry Potter themed during Halloween.
This magical two sided Dumbledore & Dobby Painted Pumpkin was made by JD Nomo Designs on Etsy. This is painted on an artificial pumpkin, so if cared for correctly it should last for years.
The detail on both Albus Dumbledore and Dobby is amazing. Since Dobby is smaller, the painting of him is full bodied. Dobby is wearing his pillowcase. The painting of Dumbledore is a close-up on his face. The fine line work on his beard is amazing. I feature a lot of stunning painted pumpkins during Halloween season and this is some of the best fine lines I’ve ever seen.
Here are both sides.
I think Hagrid, with his giant Halloween pumpkins for Hogwarts, would be jealous of his magical pumpkin.
Here is a terrific collage that shows all four sides.
