Cinderella’s Carriage Rolls By

Cinderella Carriage Cake

I made this Cinderella’s Carriage cake for my niece and husband to celebrate their one month wedding anniversary.

They went to Walt Disney World for part of their honeymoon so I thought this would be a nice theme for the cake.

Because their wedding colors were red, white, and blue, I made this cake red, white, and blue to match.

The horses and carriage were made using sugar paste.

Their initials are on the side of the cake with a heart in the middle to show their love for each other.

Wow! This Hand Painted Cinderella Cake Is Magical!

Hand Painted Cinderella Cake

This gorgeous Cinderella Cake was made by Cakeria Carioca. This is a two layer cake.  The top of the cake is the pumpkin transforming into the carriage.  The golden magic flowing from the pumpkin runs down the side of the cake.  On the cake itself is a hand painted picture of Cinderella in her ball gown.  The painting is done in shades of blue and black.  Inside that painting is a white and pink area with a second painting.  This one is a silhouette of Cinderella dancing with the prince.  The painting within a painting is absolutely stunning.

Fabulous Cinderella’s Carriage Cake

Cinderella Carriage Cake

This Fabulous Cinderella’s 3-D Carriage Cake features gold filigree decorations on the golden wheels and around the carriage window.

This wonderful cake was made by Carasmatic Cake Studio.

Each wheel is a coiled golden vine with golden leaves as the spokes of the wheel. The inside of the carriage is blue to match Cinderella’s dress.

The carriage is white and decorated with golden leaves and gold filagree. A golden pumpkin surrounded by gold leaves is on top of the carriage. The top itself is blue.

The cake board has a cobblestone pattern.

Here’s an in progress shot.  It looks like the leaves and medallions were made using a mold and then painted gold.

Here is a picture of the sphere cake that was the beginning of the carriage. It’s takes a lot of skill to get a perfectly round cake that is stable.

It’s impressive to see the result of hours of work and skill that went into the finished cake.
