This stunning cake, which won a gold prize at a sugar art contest in the Netherlands, was made by Cake Central member Alice79. The theme of the contest was “Fairytales Still Exist”.
I love how the top of the cake is a little girl dreaming and the rest of the cake is her dreams.
The way Aladdin and the magic carpet appear to just be floating just off the side of the cake is amazing.
The hand painted backgrounds on this cake are wonderful. It gives this forest depth that it wouldn’t have otherwise.
