One of my daughter’s favorite movie villains is Heath Ledger’s Joker in The Dark Knight. One of her favorite scenes from The Dark Knight is where Joker says “Let Me Show You A Magic Trick” for the simple reason that it shows the character of Joker in that movie so well. Heath Ledger does an amazing job playing Joker. This cake comes from one of the early scenes of the movie at the bank heist. The way that they sculpted the mask is amazing. It also reminds me a lot of the Melpomene mask or the tragedy mask of theater. The skillful coloring and excellent sculpting makes it look so tragic. This cake was made by Wicked Cakes in Austin, Texas.
