This beautiful Downton Abbey Cake recreates Lady Mary’s Wedding Dress. It was made for the Downton Abbey Cake Collaboration called A Sweet Farewell To Downton.
This gorgeous cake was made by Reva Alexander-Hawk from Merci Beaucoup Fine Cakes & Pastries. Merci Beaucoup Fine Cakes & Pastries is located in Novato, California.
This four tear cake was designed to look like Lady Mary’s Wedding Dress. The very bottom of the cake has ruffles just like dress. The bottom layer has the bouquet of Lilies that Lady’s Mary was holding. The second and third layer have lacework. Wrapped around the top layer is a recreation of the silver portion of Lady Mary’s veil. There is a two veils draping down the side of the cake. Reva did a wonderful job recreating the wedding dress with this cake.
