These Awesome Spider-Man, Green Goblin, and Venom Pumpkin Carvings were made by Alex Wer, The Pumpkin Geek.
This carving is a close-up of Spider-Man. You can see his head, shoulders and chest. This design highlights the web pattern on Spidey’s costume. I really like how the brightest part of this carving is Spider-Man’s eyes. The way they glow is fantastic.
Spider-Man’s head is turned to one side and one shoulder is higher than the other. Though we can’t see his hands, Spider-Man is obviously holding onto a web line with one arm while shooting a new web line in the direction he is looking. They way Alex shows this without us seeing Spidey’s hands or web lines is brilliant.
This great Green Goblin carving shows him riding his Goblin Glider. We can see the Goblin from the knees up. The front goblin face on the Gilder is also visible. The Goblin is hunched down so that he doesn’t fall off his Goblin Glider. He is wearing his original iconic costume. He even has the strap for his side bag that contains his pumpkin bombs. His face is turned to one side and it looks like he is either laughing or taunting Spider-Man. Alex does an amazing job making the Goblin look so creepy.
This Venom carving is so creepy. Alex zoomed in so that all you see is Venom’s head, chest, teeth and tongue. Making so much of the focal point being Vemon’s giant teeth and extremely long tongue makes Venom look so menacing.
