Snow White & 7 Dwarfs Cake

This Snow White & 7 Dwarfs cake features a dimensional fondant portrait of Snow White inside a gold frame. In addition dimensional fondant  7 dwarfs are peeking over the footboards of their beds, looking at Snow White.  Since only the Dwarfs heads are showing, the baker did not have to worry about any detail for their bodies.  This is a nice way to save some work when making fondant characters. Also I like the way the baker built the characters with multiple layers of fondant in different colors to give Snow White & the 7 dwarfs some dimension.

This wonderful cake was made by Teddy Baker.  In addition a large red fondant covered apple is on the top of the cake.   The apple is on a gold stand that matches the ornate gold picture frame around the portrait. Large red fondant bow and ribbon are in front of the footboards and match the red bottom tier. In addition there are 4 gold candles for a 4th birthday celebration.
