These wonderful cookies feature Winnie the Pooh Partying With The Lion King. They were made by Joliette Marie. They feature Winnie the Pooh, Simba, Piglet, Nala, Tigger, Pumbaa, Owl and Timon. I really like cookies that mix characters that have never met in animation and these are absolutely delightful.
One thing that I really like about these wonderful cookies is that Joliette uses different designs for the characters. For Simba and friends, Joliette uses a style that looks like the animated versions of the characters from the Lion King movies. But for Winnie the Pooh and friends, Joliette mixes the Disney versions of the characters with the classic versions by E. H. Shepard. (A quick aside: A few years ago, a local museum had a bunch of E. H. Shepard’s drawings on display. If you ever get a chance to see them, I highly recommend it.). By mixing character designs, each character stands out more than if Joliette had only used one style for all of the characters.
