This Santa Mickey Mouse Cake is a two tiered cake with Mickey’s body hand-drawn onto the cake. His head and ears are drawn onto separate pieces of fondant. His red Santa hat is a separate piece of fondant. The white trim looks like it is shredded fondant or piped royal icing. The yellow shoes and the body are outlined in dark grey to give them dimension.
This wonderful cake was made by Cake in Flowers. This is the first time I have seen Mickey with lace up shoes. Red and green Christmas ornaments and sprigs of fur tree are on the top and sides of the cake around Mickey. These add to the festive look. The scarf was made with a separate piece of green fondant.
