I made these hand-painted Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, and Tigger cookies to welcome a new baby into my nephew’s family.
I love Pooh, Piglet, and Tigger and thought cookies of them would be a nice gift to welcome baby.
In addition, I used edible paints and markers to draw these characters.
All three characters with smiling faces are inspired by images from disneyclips.com.
I made sugar cookies. Then flooded them with white royal icing.
Next, I painted images of the characters on the cookies.
First, I outlined the shape of Pooh on the cookie. Then I painted it with gold, black, and red edible paint.
Second, I outlined the shape of Piglet on the cookie. Then I colored it with different shades of pink and put in lines for his shirt.
Third, I outlined the shape of Tigger on the cookie. Then I colored it with orange, yellow, pink, and black.
I painted these Winnie the Pooh cookies using a combination of liquid concentrated colors mixed with white liquid color and powdered colors mixed with white powdered paint and thinned with vodka. The thinner the paint, the lighter the shade. Multiple coats of paint made the shade of pink darker also.
