Donald is facing Daisy and he is looking at the balloon. Daisy has a happy and surprised expression on her face. She is looking at Donald. Daisy and Donald’s body language and facial expressions are wonderful! There are also heart shaped and hearts with wings Valentine cookies in the box. This is such an adorable set of cookies.
I really like Donald Duck because he was paired with so many different characters in his classic cartoons. He was in cartoons with Mickey and Goofy, Chip and Dale, Pluto, and Humphrey the Bear. Plus, he was part of the Three Caballeros. In Italian comic books, there is even a version of Donald that is a super hero.
But my favorite thing about Donald is that he had his own family. Daisy is the love of his life. He is raising Huey, Dewey and Louie. Scrooge is his uncle. His family tree also includes Grandma Duck, Gus Goose, Gladstone Gander and Fethry Duck.
Unfortunately, Daisy was only in eleven of the classic cartoons and she was never the feature character. It wasn’t until later animated series and comic books that Daisy really got the spotlight. I’d really like to see her be the star of her own animated series someday.
